Chris is a Maryland artist, living and working outside of Baltimore, and she is passionate about painting. Chris makes paintings to celebrate the natural world, ordinary experiences, and the effect of light. Working in oils, she paints landscape studies outdoors, or “en Plein Air” and still life arrangements, and larger works in her studio. “Through painting, I strive to engage the world, to
be immersed and entirely present in a particular experience, and to create a meaningful visual record.
